Swim to SERVE

Swimming initiative getting teens pool ready and job ready

An exciting, grant-funded program by USA Swimming Foundation that empowers teens to conquer the water and dive into future careers as lifeguards and swim instructors.

Swim to Serve is a low-cost, 6-week swim for teens ages 13–19 designed to provide foundational swim skills, boost water safety knowledge, and introduce participants to paid career paths in aquatics. 

Deadline to apply is Saturday, May 24

What’s Included

  • Subsidized swim lessons with certified instructors

  • Intro to lifeguarding and water safety certification opportunities

  • Community celebration and recognition event upon completion

Who Should Apply

  • Teens ages 13–19

  • Must be committed to attending 2x/week for the full program

  • Open to all skill levels — beginners welcome!

  • Priority given to teens from underserved communities
