Pool rental fees range from $500 to $2,500 a day! With this grant, we can rent a pool facility without drowning in debt.

We can hire, certify, and pay people of color to keep BPWS running like a smooth sailing ship.

We can pay it forward and provide scholarships to student-athletes, locally and abroad, who excel in the pool and in the classroom.

My Swim Story
Being Black isn't monolithic. Neither are our experiences with water.
Whether it may be good, bad, or indifferent, we want our community to talk about their relationship with swimming. From a near-drowning experience as a kid to growing up surrounded by beaches in the Caribbean, we’re empowering our community with our stories.
