My Swim Story

This is a great place to add a tagline.

Whether it may be good or bad, we want our community to talk about their relationship with water. From their near-drowning experience, their earliest memory of swimming to learning how to swim as an adult, we’re using the power of storytelling to showcase why one should learn how to swim. More importantly, conquering their fears.

In this campaign, we are following the journeys of several individuals in different stages of their lives and swim journeys and what it means to them to conquer this fear.

Make the promise

Sometimes all you need to do is take the first step.

Make this promise to yourself and your family that you will learn how to swim.

Black People Will Swim’s sole mission is plain and simple: it’s smashing the stereotype that Black people don’t swim.
